I have not been able to like posts or comments for over 24 hours. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Below are some extra comics for your trouble. Thanks 🙂

Somehow you’ve blocked yourself. I have a new computer so no problem now but when I was limited like you seem to be now I switched browser from google chrome to firefox and was able to comment and like again.

Maybe I’ll look at using a different browser. Thanks. Good advice 🙂 🙂

I have had this problem sometimes, but it has gone away after a few days. Both Chrome and Firefox are well-behaved most of the time, but not always.

That’s good to know. Thanks. Hopefully it will clear itself up.

Have you cleared your cache? Wp starts to act funny on Chrome after a few months if the cache isn’t completely cleared

I did try that, but no luck. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂 🙂

Ok, someone on the forums is having the same issue as you. I’d chime in with your details so if staff can come up iwth a solution, you’ll hear about it.

The forum people won’t be answering any time soon. it’s never quick on the forums…

Not sure why this happens but several others I follow have had the same problem. One blogger was told by WordPress that she was exhibiting robot behavior, and after going back and forth with them was told her “like” option would not be restored.

💜 WordPress is experiencing difficulties with transitioning users to Jetpack; teething problems are quite common with major software migrations involving many users

Hi, WordPress may have blocked you from liking and commenting. Their algorithm isn’t the best and sometimes marks real blogs as spam. I would recommend contacting the Happiness Engineers to fix the issue. I had the same problem a few years ago.

Thanks 🙂 🙂 I tried emailing support, but with a free account they don’t help and suggest you use the forums.

It is still not working, but I have some options in front of me that I can try over the next couple of days as time becomes available. Thanks 🙂 🙂

I recommend contacting the Happiness Engineers and they will help you out. I had the same issue and theyhelped me. If I could remember what the solution was I would tell you. I think the release of Jetpack has most likely created some issues as well. Best of luck.

The commenters above have already suggested the fixes that I thought of, so I’ll wish you good luck. A very annoying situation, Great funnies, though. Thanks. 🙂

AH! Grr! 😀
That always happens to me (on WordPress only!) when I clear both the cache and cookies on my browser (Firefox). I then need to manually click on the symbols of the url and “allow” “open pop-up windows” and turn the Enhance Tracking Protection off for whatever site you are visiting. Then it takes a day or two for things to work properly again.

I’m sorry that keeps happening to you. I cleared the cache and turned the Enhance Tracking Protection off, but I don’t think I did “allow” open pop-up windows.” I’ll have to check in to that. Thank you very much 🙂 🙂

Thanks 🙂 A free account limits me to the forum. The issue was eventually resolved, though I did not see an explanation given as to why the problem occurred.
