🙂 🙂 I used to be an accountant. There are certainly interesting and exciting things you get to deal with. As I’m sure there are with being a librarian. But, probably not from most kids point of view.
Some librarians also help people from overdosing by offering NARCAN if the libraries are near areas where people shoot up, deal with the homeless who often have no place else to go during the day, deal with banned book protests, a few deal with Drag Queen story hours, and many citizens that think they ‘know’ more about everything than the people who work there. Often not as quiet as the collective wisdom assumes.
There are certainly difficulties with every job. Not sure you would use these in a kids game. Maybe an adult version. I used to be an accountant which is considered by many to be a boring job. But I found many interesting things to do in my work. As I am sure there are interesting things in being a librarian.
If you like your job, it can be fun. Not everything, not every day. Many people are surprised to learn that a Masters degree is often required to be a librarian.
