OMG I can’t believe the timing of this–literally yesterday a colleague of mine (who I had never previously even talked to but we just both happened to be in the office on the same day) told me about someone in his family having a cat who does play fetch. Each cat has his/her own quirks, I guess, one thing they aren’t is predictable. That’s why they’re the best!
But it’s just so surreal seeing your comic a day after being told of this unusual cat.
I was unaware that cats will fetch. Another person told me they do earlier today. That was surprising, but nice to learn.
I have a list of comics I choose from to repost on Saturday and this one isn’t on it. I happened across this comic looking for artwork I could use for a new comic. It’s funny how in life all of the sudden something can show up multiple times in a short period. 🙂 Thanks for sharing 🙂 🙂
I don’t have any cats right now, but I’ve had many during my life. Several of them would fetch, but only small, specific items of their choice. My very first Gato ‘Jake’ would fetch the small plastic rings from the top of our milk jugs! My mother was constantly upset with me (and Jake), because there were plastic milk rings all over the kitchen! 🤣❤️😢 He was amazing! Thank you for the flashback!

Charlee: “That was when I was a young kitten and didn’t know any better.”
