Hah! and then there is our ‘local joke’ – A van of nuns were stopped on Hwy 24 for ‘impeding traffic’. The patrolman said, “Sister, do you know how far below the speed limit you were going?” and she said, “Officer, the sign said 24 and I think I was close to that, but I will accept what your radar told you.” He laughed and said, “Highway 24 is what you are traveling on – The speed limit is 55” and the Nun replied, “Oh NO! We just turned off 70” (course, this was back in the day when the speed limit on I-70 was 55, too – LOL)
