There’s always a catch with magical intervention. It’s why even a genie isn’t the easy way out. There was an episode of old Twilight Zone that dealt with a genie. Maybe even two of them. You never end up with Robin Williams’ Genie – always Jafar as a genie.

What a dick move. If I was him I wish for 100 wishes that will come true no strings attached, and then wish the genie no longer exists.
